Yes, fall will be busy
The chart above shows the average Toronto home prices up to the end of August. During the slow summer weeks, sale values “slumped” to levels not seen since March! Meanwhile, average prices in some parts of the GTA touched record levels in some weeks of August. Statistics are dandy as long as you use them with care and respect.

It’s clear to most agents that this fall is already shaping up to be busy and that the strong demand for homes will put still more pressure on prices. Bidding wars will still be common in most areas of the City, and more frequent in parts of Markham, Vaughan and Mississauga.
