Joanne was the founding President of the Metro Mothers Network, now known as Mumnet; she’s served as President of the Whitney Child Centre and the Whitney Parent School Association; and she’s co-chaired the North Toronto CI School Council, the UTS Parents Association (with James), and FOPE (Friends of Public Education). Joanne served for nine years (2009-2017) as the Chair of Mayfair in Rosedale Park, an annual event that’s both a fundraiser for Mooredale House, and an amazing, much-loved fun fair for kids and grownups alike, put on by the Rosedale and Moore Park community.
